Aleksandra Litorowicz

(she/her)
I teach at School of Form and at SWPS University, where I am working on a doctoral dissertation on possible alternatives to the (over)production of large-scale images in urban space. I initiate and lead activities related to urban culture, public space, and design, as well as research, educational, and publishing projects.
I co-created FUTUWAWA, a competition for the Warsaw of the future, the School of Community Architecture (SAS), and research projects on urban squares, Polish murals, and areas surrounding cultural institutions. I am currently developing “Miastozdziczenie” (“Urban Rewilding”), an initiative researching interspecies cohabitation. I am also developing experimental methods for working with urban space as part of “Laboratorium Dryfu” (“Drift Laboratory”).
I have been a recipient of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and of the City of Warsaw scholarships. I served as a member of the Social Council for Culture under the Mayor of Warsaw (Prezydent m.st. Warszawy) from 2022 to 2025.
