Monica Gillette
I am currently working as a dramaturge for the Tanzhaus Zürich and conducting research on behalf of the European Dance Development Network (EDN).
I completed classical ballet training in the USA and gained a wide range of experience in contemporary dance in Europe, most recently in the ensemble of Theater Freiburg. In addition to my work as a dramaturge, I subsequently specialized in international projects that combine dance with social engagement and cultural exchange. Most recently, I has been involved in several European dance projects, such as “Migrant Bodies/Moving Borders”, “Empowering Dance” and “Dancing Museums – The Democracy of Beings”.
