ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

IMPROVEMENTS

Contrast

The colour contrast of content-driven elements has a text-to-background brightness ratio of at least 4.5:1. Only large text and interface elements (site navigation) have a text-to-background brightness ratio greater than 3:1.

Page zoom

Page enlargement without loss of functionality is possible in web browsers using keyboard shortcuts or appropriate settings.

Images and graphics

Images and graphics relevant to the understanding of the content have alternative text.

Multimedia content

All video recordings have closed captions. Some audio and video recordings have transcriptions but no audio description or translation into PJM. Most video recordings are created so that the narrator or character compensates as much as possible for the lack of audio description.

Moving without the mouse

The pages of the website can be navigated without the use of a mouse, using only the keyboard and standard keyboard shortcuts.

ARCHITECTURAL ACCESSIBILITY WOK LAB

WOK Lab is our dedicated space for activities. It is located at ulica Marszałkowska 34/50.

ACCESS

WOK Lab can be reached by underground (Politechnika station is 350–400 metres away), bus or tram.

We do not have a separate car park; public parking spaces are available on ulica Marszałkowska or Plac Konstytucji.

In front of the entrance to the WOK Lab, on ulica Marszałkowska, there are public parking spaces for people with disabilities. These are marked with a blue envelope.

WOK LAB SPACE

The main entrance is from ulica Marszałkowska, between Plac Zbawiciela and Plac Konstytucji (building under the arcade), on an elevated level.

There is a wheelchair ramp on the side of Constitution Square.

The main entrance is marked with the logos of the Warsaw Observatory of Culture and the Monopol Gallery and BWA Warszawa, which are located in the same building on the upper floors.

The entrance is not equipped with an automatic door. It is accessible for wheelchair users (single door, over 90 cm wide).

On the right is a door leading directly into the WOK Lab (double doors, over 90 cm wide). Just beyond these is a low threshold marked with black and yellow tape. There is no tactile path; the floor is light, without contrast.

There is no lift in the building, only stairs leading to the upper floors and the basement. They have handrails on one side and no edge markings.

There are Braille signs, contrast signs or induction loops in the building.

You can come with an assistance dog or a guide dog. All pets are welcome. Water bowls are available at the front door of the WOK Lab.

TOILET

There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.

The toilet has a changing table and toiletries.

The toilet is public and the door is not equipped with a door closer.

There is a minimum of 150 cm of manoeuvring space in the toilet.

There is no call system.

The toilet bowl is mounted low, with a handrail on the right side.

The WOK office does not have disabled parking. The nearest ones are located on ulica Marszałkowska and are marked with a blue envelope.

WOK OFFICE ENTRANCE

The WOK office building is located at the end of the courtyard, which is accessed from ulica Marszałkowska 34/50. This is the only available access to our building.
