Mateusz Saczywko

Public Procurement Specialist

At WOK, I am responsible for what seems to be the favourite topic of all staff members, namely public procurement and accuracy expense reporting. I am a lawyer by education. I have been working on public procurement projects in institutions of culture since 2008. I also work as the Head of Public Procurement and Management Control at the Office of the Commissioner of Human Rights. I serve as an expert on a project to develop a national standard for professional competence of the profession of public procurement specialists. I am the author of many articles and books on public procurement. In my spare time, I love cooking, which helps me forget about the intriguing topic of ‘public finance’.

What I love about Warsaw is its pace, versatility, and unpredictability. What I do not like is that some of its residents do not smile enough.
