A networking for members of the Belarusian photography community living in Poland
The past few years have presented numerous challenges for Belarusian artists, including the COVID-19 pandemic, political turmoil, war, emigration, a crisis of meaning, and career changes. This is why it is crucial for them to share their experiences, and build networks of exchange and cooperation.
The meeting, held at WOK Lab on July 12, 2023, was focused on Belarusian photography after 2020. Three Belarusian photographers showcased their works, shared their creative experiences, and discussed personal and professional changes. This event also provided an opportunity to get to know each other better and engage in informal conversations.
The second meeting of Belarusian photographers was held at WOK Lab on October 23, 2023. This time Alyaksandar Valodzin, Polina Turko, and Maryia Karneyenka talked about their work.

FSH1 was established in October 2016 in Minsk, Belarus, as a photography school. Since 2020, it transformed into an association focused on networking among Belarusian photographers, regardless of the country in which they live. Our activities include organising events, lectures, meetings with artists, artistic presentations, workshops, conferences, and fostering international cooperation.
