Katarzyna Ignaszewicz

I am a photographer, activist, and emigrant from Belarus. Originally from Soligorsk, a mining city located south of the capital, my love for photography is mainly focused on capturing captivating portraits. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with media outlets such as 34mag, Bolshoi, Radio Svaboda, CityDog, and devby. Additionally, I’ve worked as a manager at the PR3 advertising agency, and together with the public organisation Honest People, I’ve produced films documenting the protests in Belarus. Unfortunately, for this and other reasons, I cannot return home. In 2023, I became a member of the FSH1 team, where we actively contribute to the development of the photographers’ community, aiming to create a vibrant and supportive network.
