Evaluation of temporary exhibitions production

At the invitation of the Museum of Warsaw, the WOK project team developed and executed a pilot evaluation process of the production of the Museum's temporary exhibitions.

The first stage of the process focused on identifying needs and was carried out in collaboration with the Museum’s Anna Stelmaszczyk and Marzena Michałek-Dąbrowska, who are responsible for the production processes and for the implementation of the document setting out the principles of collaboration when putting on exhibitions. The project’s first stage ended with the development of a framework tool by WOK to conduct satisfaction surveys in the form of a template survey that the Museum would use in subsequent evaluation processes.

In the project’s second stage, a workshop was held at the WOK Lab to summarise the Museum’s work on the production of the existing exhibition entitled “Warsaw 1945-1949: Rising from Rubble”. During the workshop, key moments of arranging exhibitions were studied and analysed from the perspective of each of the Museum’s departments. Together, the team developed recommendations that will serve as guidelines for the Museum’s teams on future exhibitions. The workshop was designed and conducted by Justyna Czarnota and Marta Michalak.
