Iga Dzięgielewska
I am a theatre educator, performer and producer. I graduated from the Institute of Polish Culture at the University of Warsaw. I am a member of the Theatre-Social Laboratory collective, where I investigate social phenomena in the form of performances, urban actions and open workshops. As a member of the Association of Theatre Pedagofgues, I co-create and lead workshops and creative processes. I also coordinate and produce artistic and educational projects. My other activities include supporting socially engaged art and promoting sex education. I work at the Halina and Jan Machulski Ochota Theatre.
I have cooperated, among others, with the Association of Theatre Pedagogues, the “Music is for Everyone” Foundation, the Zamek Cultural Centre in Poznań, TR Warszawa, the Theatre Institute, the Cervantes Institute, the Szydłowiec Culture Centre – Zamek, the Powszechny Theatre in Warsaw, the Sto Pociech Foundation, the Nowy Theatre International Cultural Centre, the European Solidarity Centre, the Studio Theatre in Warsaw, the Great Histories Foundation, the Association for Creative Initiatives ‘ę’, the BAJ Theatre in Warsaw, the Dramatyczny Theatre in Warsaw, and the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw.
