Eliza Trefas

I am currently co-conducting research and projects that explore the ways of embodying visible and invisible forms of life. In my work I combine conventions and attempt to bring out the complexities and vulnerabilities inherent in the ways in which landscapes and urban environments are inhabited – in defiance of numbness and ossified certainty. My work has been presented at Salonul de Proiecte (Bucharest), eXplore Festival (Bucharest), Bang (Torres Vedras), Multiplicidades Festival (Santa Cruz), RAKETE TQW (Vienna), DO Festival (Gdansk), National Dance Centre (Bucharest), among others. In 2021, I was awarded the CNDB by the National Dance Centre in Bucharest for my contribution to contemporary dance.
