I am a visual artist, Mother Creator, and I run the Siostry [Sisters] collective. At WOK, I coordinate the artistic and research residencies.

In 2019, I defended my diploma in artistic printmaking entitled Atlantis. The Memory of Paradise Lost at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. I received the Rector’s distinction and the distinction of the Association of the International Triennial of Graphic Arts in Kraków as part of the “Best Diploma – Graphic Arts. Students and their Promoters” programme, and I also participated in the “Coming Out 2019” exhibition showcasing the best diplomas of the Academy of Fine Arts. In 2015, I received the third-degree Jerzy Warchałowski award from the Minister of Foreign Affairs. I have participated in seven group exhibitions and had three solo exhibitions.

I value being in the course of a process – as a human being, as a woman, and as an artist. I love being in motion, silent, flying, and lying on the floor. My favourite season is ‘spring-summer’.

Artist Mothers in Process
I enjoy good films where the plot surprises me and different characters turn out to have a much greater influence on each other than I initially thought. Similarly, I perceive the history that brought me here, to WOK, giving me the opportunity to talk about what is important to me.
How to avoid the exclusion of mothers and carers working in the arts and how to support their professional development?
