Paweł Siemianowski
In the Warsaw Observatory of Culture, I am responsible for widely understood legal matters, including the formal and legal accuracy of contracts and agreements and internal instruments, as well as for providing ongoing legal support and advice. I am a graduate of the Department of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, and I am currently enrolled on the list of attorneys-at-law at the Regional Chamber of Attorneys-at-Law in Warsaw, and I practice the law in this capacity. I have many years of experience in providing legal services, including in favour of Cultural institutions. When handling legal matters at WOK, I try to always look for a compromise between the creative vision and the concept of operation of a Cultural institution and the formal requirements of cultural operations stemming from the operative provisions of law.
In my spare time… what is ‘spare time’, anyway? After work, I go on long walks with my family or cycling trips in the Kampinos forest. Whenever I also get a chance to watch a soccer match or read a good crime novel, I feel incredible joy and satisfaction that I have brought to life the ‘work-life balance’ directive. Ironically, what I like about Warsaw is the constant rush and the incessant drive towards the new, the better, and the undiscovered, as this is something that helps me grow.
