Although I gained professional experience in political, business and social communication, I ultimately returned to culture, where my career began.
I am a ‘dangerous’ person for the team as I often ask inquisitive questions about who is doing what, and when I get no answer, I search for it myself. If I still cannot find it, I pester the team with questions again until I do. All this is aimed at capturing and publicising what is happening here. I sometimes wonder how my colleagues can tolerate my inquisitiveness, but I am grateful to them when I see that my efforts are increasing our reach.
I am convinced that reliable and consistent communication stems from solid, well-thought-out foundations, which is why I love working on strategies and experimenting with messages so that I can adapt them for different channels and platforms later on.
I believe that every person and their good deeds are themselves the best form of communication – all it takes is a little effort to make them visible to others. I love my role as a facilitator in this process.
Since my university days, I have approached life like a hitchhiking journey, and cultural expeditions remain my passion to this day. I am glad that I met a travel companion like WOK – we get on well together.
