Edyta Ołdak
I am a graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. I completed my doctorate at the Faculty of Art at the Pedagogical University of Krakow. I am a graphic designer, book illustrator, animator, and cultural manager. I am the founder and long-time president of the Association “Z Siedzibą w Warszawie,” where I oversee educational programs and visual branding for the association’s activities. Additionally, I am involved in training, developing strategies for cultural entities, and conducting research on the expanded field of culture.
In 2021, I led the process of selecting new recommendations for cultural education, resulting in a strategic document for the city of Warsaw, which I co-authored. In 2015, I received the Design Alive Award for Animator of the Year for my project titled “Pudło w grochy albo gąbka na biegunach“. I have been twice awarded scholarships by the Minister of Culture in the visual arts category. I am also the recipient of the Warsaw Cultural Education Award and the Must Have Award for an illustrated textbook on Asperger’s syndrome.
