Yulia Krivich • Юлія Кривич

Born in 1988 in Dnipro, Ukraine – a female artist and photographer. Graduated from the Academy of architecture and civil engineering in her hometown, and the Academy of Arts in Warsaw. In her artistic practice, she addresses the issues of identity, and employs the elements of activism combined with a personal story. The artist’s interests include the topics of migration and the ones connected to Eastern Europe. Winner of ShowOFF section at Krakow Photomonth (2015), participant of Pla(t)form at the Museum of Photography in Winterthur, Switzerland (2018), Pinchuk Art Center Award nominee in Kyiv (2018), Warsaw City scholar (2021), participant of WHW Akademija in Zagreb (2021), and Futures Platform in Amsterdam (2021). Yuliia lives in Warsaw and works at the Academy of Arts in Szczecin – in the studio of photography and post-artistic engagement.
