Tereza Barabash • Тереза Барабаш

Born in 1984 in Lviv. Works with textiles, installations, audiovisual art and land art. Studied at the Lviv National Academy of Arts at the department of creative textiles. Was twice a scholarship holder of the Gaude Polonia Programme of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Poland (2010, 2016). Since 2010, member of the Ukraine’s National Union of Artists. Active participant of international exhibitions, festivals, open-air workshops, art projects in Ukraine and abroad. Received numerous awards for her work, including two top honors – the Gold Medal and the Akapi Foundation Award for Best Debut with the work “Doshch inUA” (English: “Rain inUA”) at the 15th International Art Textile Triennial in Lodz, Poland (2016). Lives and works in Lviv.
