Aleksandra Litorowicz

(she/her)
I am the director of the PUSZKA Foundation for Urban Action and Research, a cultural scientist, researcher and curator.

I teach at the School of Form and SWPS University, where I am working on my dissertation on “possible alternatives to the (over)production of large-scale images in urban space”. I initiate and lead activities related to urban culture, public space and design, as well as research, educational and publishing projects. I co-founded the FUTUWAWA competition for the Warsaw of the Future, the School of Social Architecture (SAS), and research projects on urban squares, Polish murals and areas around cultural institutions. I am currently developing the Urban Legacy initiative, which explores interspecies coexistence. I have been a fellow of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the City of Warsaw, and I am currently a member of the Social Council for Culture 2022–2025 serving as an advisory body to the Mayor of the City of Warsaw.
