Joanna Mueller

I am a poet, editor and essayist. I have published seven poetry collections, most recently Waruj (a poetic graphic novel with Joanna Łańcucka), Hista & her sista, trule and two essay collections (Stratygrafie, Powlekać rosnące), a children’s poetry collection Piraci dobrej roboty and a kamishibai book Niewidka i Zobaczysko (with Joanna Łańcucka). In 2023 I was awarded the Silesius Prize for Lifetime Achievement. I work as an editor for Biuro Literackie and in the Wspólny Pokój Association, where I run literary workshops. I want to strengthen women’s voices in cultural and social life.
