Paulina Brelińska-Garsztka

I am an event curator, an artist manager, and a member of ¿Czy badania artystyczne? Trio (CBA) along with Zofia Reznik and Zofia Małkowicz, art critic, coordinator of residencies and international activities of the Wroclaw Institute of Culture. I have been involved in artistic and curatorial research for many years. I am interested in the theoretical aspects of this field, especially its practical application. In 2018, I organised a research and curatorial graduation exhibition entitled Voyager’s Record, using the research catalogue tool and in a physical space (I graduated from the Department of Art Education with a specialisation in curatorial strategies at the University of the Arts in Poznań). Research was also the subject of my theoretical MA thesis, which I wrote at the same university and in 2020 as part of the ¿CBA? Trio, we organised our first conference on artistic research. With all this in mind, I come to WOK with a host of experience from acting in alliances and working with different collectives and people with diverse skills. I experiment and collaborate with different institutions, magazines and artists. I am particularly interested in international collaboration when working on projects.
